Systems Ability Remote Endpoint Management

The icon is part of Systems Ability's Remote Endpoint Management system, which we use to manage and support our customers' computer systems. The icon is for an 'agent', a small software application that runs on your computer and allows Systems Ability's technical support team to quickly and automatically perform some important functions. These include:

Remote Control
When you have a problem and need our help, the agent allows our helpdesk team to take control of your computer in just a few seconds and start work fixing the problem. If you are concerned about privacy, simply right-click the icon and select 'Disable Remote Control'. The agent will turn red to indicate that we can no longer take control of your computer or see anything that you have on screen. Please rememeber that before we can help you will need to right-click the agent again and select 'Enable Remote Control' to allow us to access you computer again.

System Audit and Monitoring
The agent allows us to gather technical information about your computer such as Make, Model, Serial number, disk drives, memory and other information to help us provide technical support. The agent will also monitor important system metrics such as disk space, and send us an alert if anything looks wrong.

EndPoint Security
If you are subscribed to our Managed Endpoint Security service, the agent will ensure that your computer has the latest security patches and antivirus software installed, and will let our helpdesk team know if there are any security risks on your computer.

Backup and Disaster Recovery
If you are subscribed to our Business Continuity service, the agent manages the backup of your system and alerts our helpdesk if any problems or errors occur during the backup process.
