The A-B-C building block approach allows you to choose a solution that meets your business continuity requirements:
Option A provides incremental imaging of servers and critical PCs to local storage on your own network (such as a NAS or USB hard drive). In the event of a failure, the image can be restored to a “bare metal” server - even different hardware– or converted to run on VMWare. Incremental imaging can take place daily, weekly or even several times a day to meet your needs.
Option B builds on option A, providing you with secure off-site storage of your images and data, and ensuring that your backups are protected and accessible even if there is a total loss of your on-site systems. Your server/PC images are replicated to storage servers in our secure data centres.
Option C completes the solution by providing a Live Standby Server for rapid business recovery. If your on-site infrastructure suffers a “disaster” the standby server can be up and running in a few minutes with your most recent off-site data backup. Additional replication features provide frequent replication of critical data from your on-site server to the Live Standby Server, maintaining the standby server data as close to real time as practical. Key users can connect to the Live Standby Server using remote access software.
